Fix a leaking pipe in minutes with this self fusing silicone tape. Peel, stretch and wrap, and the layers bond to each other into one solid, waterproof seal with no glue, heat or special tools needed.
This is the tape I reach for on emergency plumbing jobs: pinhole leaks in copper or PVC, split garden hoses, loose faucet connections and worn rubber hoses. It even sticks on damp surfaces, so you can work without shutting everything down first.
The flexible silicone handles water pressure, vibration and big temperature swings from freezing cold to very high heat, and it resists UV so it holds up outdoors on downspouts and irrigation lines. It also works as insulation for wires and tool handle grips.
To use it, wipe off dirt and oil, stretch the tape to about 1.5 times its length, wrap in overlapping spirals, then press firmly by hand. Give it an hour to cure before turning the water back on. Not for gas lines or strong acid or alkali environments, and wear gloves while winding.

Operating Guide
Clean the surface: Dry the oil stains and dust (wet water can be used).
Stretch winding: Remove the release film and spiral wrap with stretch tape 1.5 times the length
Compaction and sealing: Press by hand for 3 circles, let it stand for 1 hour and then drain

Do not use in gas pipelines or environments with strong acid or alkali corrosion
